With the support of encoders that executes as console programs you have a great potentiality to use many more encoders.

This is a field name for that you can store information about the specific setting. For example if you use Pulse Code Modulation (PCM), 44.1 kHz 16 bit stereo and 172 kbit/sec, you probably save this setting as CD Quality.
This is the name and the full path to the encoder programs you will use when recording with external encoders. The external encoder must take a .wav file in and a .mp3 file as output. The .wav files must exist.
Here you set the arguments to the external program given in the fields Program. You should specify where the input file name and output file name should be written by typing $1 for the input file name and $2 for the output file name. Unfortunately this some times makes this release incompatible with older versions. This way you have better control how the parameters are given to the external program. Some times you don't have to specify the output file with $2 but this is completely up to the program you are using as external program. However we strongly recommend you to specify both the $1 and $2. You can find examples of how to specify the parameters for WMA Encoder.
This field tells what extension the created file will have.
Replace all spaces within the file name. The path is not affected.
The encoder will run in background. When an encoder is started in background mode Rosoft CD Extractor will increase the field Encoder's Running.
Run the external encoder in a minimized window. This way it is easier stop the encoder if some things go wrong.
Opens a new Window and starts encoder in the new window. This way you see how the encoder proceeds.
Clear all fields.
Save the options. The options are saved as the name given by the field name.
Browse for a program. Use this button when you want to set the external encoder program.
Save the options and close the dialog.
Close the dialog without saving. If the External MP3 Encoder dialog was opened after pressing record all. You will cancel all recording if you press the cancel button.
